Harleysville’s Loss Control department works to educate our
policyholders on how to control, minimize and prevent losses.
The Creation of “Loss Control Central”
Prior to 2004, the Loss Control department had employees across the
country handling administrative duties. In 2004, the unit moved its service
to the next level with the creation of “Loss Control Central.” Those
administrative positions were centralized to the home office in
Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
In addition to consolidating these duties under one roof, job
descriptions were modified to require some technical knowledge as well as
administrative skills.
Our ultimate goal is to provide better, faster service to our agents and
policyholders.
